Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ResumeSynch (resumesynch.com) and the associated resume/cover letter generation tool. By purchasing or using ResumeSynch, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ResumeSynch uses AI to generate a tailored resume and cover letter based on a resume you provide and a job description you paste in, along with an estimated ATS (Applicant Tracking System) match score before and after tailoring. Credits are purchased via Gumroad and consumed one per job processed.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

ResumeSynch is a writing and formatting assistance tool. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific ATS score, hiring outcome, or result from using generated documents. ATS match scores are AI-generated estimates, not a guarantee of how any specific employer's actual screening system will evaluate your resume.

Accuracy of Generated Content

While we instruct the AI to avoid fabricating experience, metrics, or qualifications you didn't provide, you are responsible for reviewing all generated documents for accuracy before submitting them to any employer. Do not submit a resume or cover letter you have not personally reviewed and verified.

Payments and Credits

  • All purchases are processed through Gumroad. Pricing and tiers are listed on resumesynch.com at time of purchase.

  • Credits are tied to your Gumroad license key and are consumed when a job is successfully processed.

  • Refunds: Due to the immediate, computational nature of the service, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from using a purchased credit, contact us before disputing the charge so we can help resolve it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated credentials

  • Attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the license/credit system

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the resume content, job descriptions, and personal information you provide. We claim no ownership over your documents, generated or otherwise. The ResumeSynch name, logo, and website design are the property of ResumeSynch and may not be copied or used without permission.

Limitation of Liability

ResumeSynch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities or income.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
